• Steel tension cords are located in the toothed belt. As a result, toothed belts can transmit higher forces, are low stretch and suitable for precise controls.

Advice for installation and use

• The toothed belts must be precisely aligned.
• Belt pretension is required.
• The belt tension must be adjusted (the circumferential force and the pretensioning force must not exceed the permissible belt tensile force)
• At least one toothed belt pulley must have flanged wheels.
• At least 6 teeth have to be in mesh.
• The toothed belt drives should not be lubricated.
